UA Local 136’s members are extensively trained to install and service piping on all sized projects,
from massive steel, automotive,
chemical and power plants, to a single dwelling house.
Extensive journeymen training classes are conducted year around,
such as, Medical Gas Piping, Backflow Prevention, and various welding certifications, just to name a few.
Regardless if it’s organizing the non-union sector, training our journeymen and apprentices, registering our members to vote or performing
various volunteer community projects throughout the year,
UA Local 136 continues to lead the United Association
into the new century.
